Parisienne has been fitting wigs and hair replacement for Greenville and the surrounding Upstate since 1965. Three generations of clients have sat in these booths — women managing thinning hair in their forties, men who wanted a hairline back, children who needed to feel normal at school again.

If you have a treatment start date, the best appointment is the one before it — while we can still match your natural color, density, and part. We fit cranial prostheses, soft sleep caps, turbans, and scarves, and we’ll walk you through what to expect week by week. Many clients come to us on a referral from someone who sat in the same chair a year earlier.

Hairline & part
The front and parting have to look soft at conversational distance — irregular, slightly imperfect, the way a real hairline is.
Density & movement
Too much density is the most common giveaway. Volume should suit your face and age, and it should move when you do.
Color & texture
Real hair is never one flat tone. Dimension, root shadow, and wave pattern are matched to your complexion, not to a catalogue swatch.
Fit & comfort
Measurements, breathability, scalp sensitivity, and security. If it isn’t comfortable in a South Carolina summer, it will live in a drawer.

Yes. The first consultation is complimentary and carries no obligation. You can come in, look at options, ask everything you want to ask, and leave without buying anything.
Fittings take place in private booths, and appointments are spaced to keep the studio quiet. This has been part of how Parisienne works since 1965 — privacy is not an add-on here.
Yes, when the hairline, part, density, color, texture, construction, and fit are all handled together. The most expensive piece in the room is not automatically the most believable one — the fitting is what makes the difference.
Neither, universally. Human hair gives you styling freedom and heat tolerance. Quality synthetic holds its shape through Upstate humidity and takes far less work each morning. The right answer depends on your routine, budget, and how often you’ll wear it.
Before treatment begins, if you can. Coming in while you still have your natural hair lets us match color, density, and part precisely. If you’ve already started, come anyway — we work from photographs all the time.
We use microscopic imaging to look at the scalp surface and follicles — buildup, miniaturization, and visible signs of stress. It informs the conversation about care options. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace seeing a physician or dermatologist.
We do. Children experiencing alopecia, treatment-related loss, or trichotillomania are fitted with the same care and privacy as any other client, usually with a parent present throughout.
Appointments are preferred so a private booth and a fitter are reserved for you, but walk-ins are welcome. Saturday hours are limited, so call ahead if a weekend suits you better.
